Sunday Hangovers
- Finding Wonderland offers a comic commentary on the ongoing reviewing MSM vs. Litblogger debate.
- Stephen Elliott on his netless month. Yeah, some quibbles, but some valid points too.
- Ed Park has a delightful piece on Harry Stephen Keeler’s (mostly unsuccessful) absconsion of Edna St. Vincent Millay’s work for one of his characters. I’m a Millay junkie: the poem in question.
- Emma Bull has been posting tons of great work in honor of the technopeasant fiesta and, as I was hoping, has put up one of my very favorite YA short stories from the past few years, "Joshua Tree," originally published in Ellen Datlow and Terri Windling’s Green Man anthology. She even says it may get expanded into a novel one day, which would make me sooooo happy.
- Bob Guccione, Jr, to revive Omni as a slick science fiction magazine?
- GalleyCat attends the How Sassy Saved My Life launch party.
- Liz Hand does book notes for Generation Loss at Large-Hearted Boy.
