- One lost thing from the Lost Post of last week (the bedroom furniture is all rearranged now, so it shouldn’t happen again) was a pointer to news about the big shindig for Jeff VanderMeer’s Shriek: An Afterword at the Galapagos Art Space in Brooklyn on August 20. There will be burlesque performances, readings by the likes of Ellen Kushner and Scott Westerfeld to name but two, and, of course, a screening of the Shriek short film. I would so be there if I were anywhere close by.
