There’s a radio contest here in Raleigh that if you can pick every losing team in the first round of the NCAA tourney, you win a 54″ flatscreen TV.
I didn’t know the Tour gave out a red lantern – I wonder if they stole the idea from Alaska or vice versa?

Hmmm. Well, the lanterne rouge is mentioned in accounts of le Tour going back to at least the 1920s.
