- Last packet ever complete! And now I can really make good on all those promises to provide Actual Content Here. Yay! Also, I've toggled on some new commenty thingie that Typepad has rolled out, which is supposed to bring the interactive up in here. Or at least threaded comments and the ability to respond via e-mail. So, comment comment comment and we'll see how long it takes to blow this thing up.

I've just reread this brilliant little jewel again and it's one of those books I jealously covet the writing in. I wish I'd written it. Poking around through this stuff is almost as good.
- Christopher Barzak's latest, The Love We Share Without Knowing, manages to pull a good review out of Carolyn See in the WaPo. See also: This fabulous interview at Bookslut.
- Name Kate Daniels' dog and get the galley for book three of the most excellent series by Ilona Andrews. Want. Meanwhile: Where do all those urban fantasy cover girls get their ink?
- Rock out to nerdy girl.
- Help out some boy scouts with a charity project by clicking the linky. You know you wanna.
- The Millions has a great Year in Reading series going with recommendations from various smarties and luminaries. Thus far, I'm most intrigued by Peter Straub's suggestions (must read Warlock pronto). Speaking of which, I need to pick up the new anthology he has out…
